Across these properties, Bühlmann has deployed Altek AI’s chatbot, connected to Mews PMS so guests can ask about room availability and pricing in real time. The chatbot is powered by Altek AI’s recommendation engine, which lets it offer more personal room suggestions, only recommending options that fit the guest’s stated preferences and the live context of the conversation. This marks the start of Altek AI’s vision for AI agents that deliver more personalized service than what has been possible in the past, pointing toward the future of hospitality guest tech.

In addition, Altek AI has worked closely with Bühlmann Hotels during the development of its upcoming AI email assistant for Outlook. Soon to be officially launched, the assistant will integrate with Mews to fetch room availability, guest reservations, guest profiles, company profiles, contracted rates, and voucher-based offers. With this information, the assistant can automatically generate highly contextual email replies in seconds, saving staff time while ensuring accurate and personalized communication.
